No. Every tool runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your images, PDFs and recognized text never leave your device — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and everything keeps working.
The image compressor works with JPG, PNG and WebP. The OCR tool accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP and GIF. The collage maker takes any image format your browser can display, and the PDF converter handles PDF files up to 50 MB.

You control the trade-off with a quality slider. Around 80% quality the visible difference is negligible while file size typically drops by more than half. For web and email use, 60–70% is usually plenty; for archiving keep it above 90%.
